The spring and summer seasons will be filled with romantic and classic hues all season long. According to the runways, some of the trendiest colors and tones that will be popular throughout the season will be yellow, red, and classic black and white.
On another note, Pantone just announced that the year’s color for 2025 is mocha mousse. With peach fuzz being 2024’s color of the year, we saw it everywhere. You notice it in every store as almost every product has some sort of light-colored peach hue or pink! This year it won’t be any different as we will be indulging in this earthy chocolatey color.
Some of the best-trending accessories for this upcoming season will be oversized sunnies, bag charms, platform heels, chain belts, and head scarves. These accessory trends are mostly inspired by the ’60s and ’70s boho looks as they heavily appeared in many runway shows like Chloe.
I’m pretty excited to see just how much retailers and fashion as a whole will change this upcoming year. With all of the popular pinks, bows, and frills showing up this year. We might have a completely different look next year!
Here are some of the best Spring/Summer 2025 Trends that you need to include in your wardrobe!
Spring/Summer 2025 Trends
Yellow
Yes, yellow is the brightest color that kept trending down the runway shows like Chloe, Gucci, and more. Some of the most popular range of yellows were pastel or even bright neon yellows.
Butter yellow, baby yellow, neon yellow, and even gold appeared heavily on the runways. You can pair these yellows alongside blue and green hues or other warm colors like pink and orange.
One way to create a yellow inspired look is by pairing up a lovely soft butter yellow blouse with a gorgeous denim jacket, matching pants, some white flats, and a white handbag.

Red
Red is such a romantic color and it appeared in many shows like Alice and Olivia, Valentino, Alexander Mcqueen, Gucci, and many more. Red is such a strong and vibrant color and I’ve only got into it recently. I’ve been wanting to try out different types of colors outside of black.
For a while, black was my comfort color but now I’ve wanting to try to find the best colors that suit me best. I feel that red suits almost any skin tone and makes you look far more elegant and classy.
I highly suggest trying red this upcoming season to enhance your wardrobe especially, if you were ever like me and found comfort in wearing only black. Once I went outside my color palette, I found that I got more compliments. This let me know that I was doing something right!
Try a red dress or cardigan this spring and summer season. If that fiery red is too much try a darker red like a deep crimson color to begin with and this will get you moving up to brighter colors.

Black
Black was one of the top trending colors on the runway. It made me wonder why because it’s a basic color that is used mostly during the fall/winter season.
Black is often used as the perfect color to wear on any occasion and is the one color we all run need to give us that snatched look. Black is my go-to color that automatically make my outfit look sleek and chic. It’s my personal cheat code to look elegant. All you have to do is pair it with white with some gold accent and you can walk out the door looking like a million bucks.
The majority of the black looks that came out of the runway were elegant and sophisticated. For example, Balmain and Chanel had a lot of elegant black assembles coming out of the runway.

White
Just like black was appearing on the runway so was the color white. White is more of a light and airy color that can go with literally everything. White brightens your skintone and makes a look amazing with gold or silver accessories.
White can be gorgeously paired with any type of color or fabric. Since it’s a basic color it’s fairly easy to style. An example of this would be to pair a white dress, gold jewelry, and some red pumps for a fun night out.

Mocha Mousse
After Pantone announced that this gorgeous chocolate brown color was going to be trending for the year 2025, I got excited. I see so much potential for this year’s color. This cozy and warm color is stunning! This also means that lots of earthy, chocolatey, and coffee browns will also land in the mix.
After the huge wave of pink and peach being in every store and every collection, we are going to be seeing a lot more softer chocolate colors this year.
Some gorgeous complementary colors that blend well with mocha mousse are creme, white, and other warm tones. Pink or peach might have been a bright reassurance that we needed especially after being influenced by the Barbie movie and nostalgia the entire year of 2024. Now, it is time to wind back and let the mocha mousse color shine!

Platform Heels
I’m excited about this trend because platforms are one of the most comfortable styles of heels. When wearing a platform, you want to check the angle between the top of the front platform and the top of the heel. This arch lets you know just how much heel you will be working with, so most of the time, it would be 1 inch to 2 inches.
The platform appeared in renowned shows like Mugler and Chanel. While watching the SS25 runway shows, I noticed that the quirkier the shoe the more fashionable it will be. So, make a statement with some unique platforms this season!
On the other hand, these types of shoes tend to be on the heavier side. Make sure to feel the weight of the shoe before purchasing it to see if the weight won’t tire you after a while. For example, I’ve owned very heavy boots before and I would wear them for 8 hours straight and only had small gaps of the day to walk in them and they still tired my legs because of the weight of the shoe.

Scarf Accessories
Scarfs are some of the most elegant pieces to wear during any season and the spring and summer seasons are no different. These tiny scarfs can also be worn during the summer season and are usually the thinner satin scarfs. Some ways to wear these stunning pieces would be as a headpiece or on wrapped around the neck to add a touch of sophistication.
These small scarfs can make anyone look luxurious while using some statement sunglasses. Wear them as a headscarf, wrap them on your neck as a choker, or wrap them on your handbag to give your bag a new look. A little can go a long way using these small accessories.
On another note, bandanas are also another headpiece that appeared on the runway. Bandanas are inspired by the Y2K trends, so we will still be seeing these Y2K trends lingering next year.

Chain belts
Ah yes, the glorious chain belt! It has been a minute and it’s sure is nostalgic for me. These belts were so popular growing up that I had quite a few of my own. I loved them so much because they highlighted your waist and they made your outfit look stunning.
Chain belts are probably the most stunning accessory I’ve ever owned. I highly recommend wearing them with a dress, or anything that needs a line of division on your waist. It’s a beautiful focal point and can be layered with other belts. The more the merrier with these types of accessories.

Statement Sunglasses
Statement glasses appeared in runway shows like Prada and Chloe. Not only have ’60s boho looks influenced this type of trend but also the futuristic look of the early 2000s.
These glasses were enhanced to look far more unique and quirky at Prada and the quintessential boho look at Chloe. Their unique representation is what makes them so alluring and stylish.
These glasses will look fabulous with boho chic-inspired looks or with basics like a white t-shirt and jeans.

Bag Charms
Bag charms are on the rise and the runway is cosigning it! We love bag charms around here and I don’t know if you remember the bag charms from the early 2000’s on Juicy Couture bags. They were everything and that is what introduced me to the wonderful world of these really cute keychain accessories.
Some of the trending charms on the runway were boho-inspired but some of the top trending charms outside the runway were fruit-inspired. This especially goes for the cherry revolution that is currently all the rave. We are adoring the cherry look right now and this also goes for the notable cherry bag charm that has been all over Tiktok.
