Hi everyone! My name is Jessica and I’m the creator and editor of The Pretty Economist. I created The Pretty Economist for those who love to indulge in fashion, home decor, beauty, and wellness. I have a background in business and technology, and while in college I developed a passion for writing. This propelled me to start my first blog. I started my first blog in 2015, which was more about reviewing the latest skincare and makeup products. However, life got in the way and I had to stop writing new material, so I eventually shut down my first blog. As the years went by, I still wanted to create a special outlet to express my creative side. Fast forward to September 2023, I decided to start a new journey as a blogger again.
For as long as I can remember, I have loved watching the runway and curating outfits for me and my family. Some of my favorite hobbies have always been watching the latest fashion shows, forecasting trends, and curating looks. On the other hand, I also love to decorate my home, scour for the best beauty trends, and develop the best wellness and self-care tips. I do all of this to help those around me feel the best and have the best lifestyle possible. I also wanted to build a comfortable space for my readers and a place where I could share my knowledge and advice on all things fashion and lifestyle. This is how The Pretty Economist was born.
